Suggestion

If you want a tiny edge, I'm pretty sure you can run the 5-spoke 18 x 9 rears from a boxster up front, but most 255s will still go on your 8" wheel with some swearing and effort.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I want to buy a second set of wheels for DE and AutoX . Can someone provide the wheel offsets (F&R) for the OEM wheels? TIA!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. I assumed it was indicated somewhere obvious.... Now I know! Now the hunt for wheels begins.

POST 5Original post

FYI the 997 "S" wheels offsets are better than the stock 996 wheels. Except the fronts still need 15mm spacers on them to sit correctly. Specifically the lobster fork wheels.

Don't think they made any in 18" though, and autocrossers usually want to keep 18s for tire selection. If you want a tiny edge, I'm pretty sure you can run the 5-spoke 18 x 9 rears from a boxster up front, but most 255s will still go on your 8" wheel with some swearing and effort.

POST 7Original post

I'm not saying to use a 997 wheel or their diameter... I'm just talking offsets. And widths.
