While looking for the paint code sticker, I ran across this thing. I am assuming that it is a sensor for the frunk that sends a signal to the alarm system. The end of the wire is cut� tia!

The alarm has a microswitch in the latch that it monitors. Not sure what that thing is? Maybe follow the wire to see where it goes...
