Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The second owner later installed a Porsche Sport Exhaust from Porsche (per service records) I don't have the PSE button on the dash.

Hi All
I sold my 996 Turbo and now looking for C4S as I always liked how they look without the turbo wing.
Below are what I am looking for, please email me if you have something match my criteria.
 Body : Coupe
 Transmission: Automatic only!!
Millage: High millage cars are absolutely OK as long as price reflects that.
Color: Any color is ok but bold colors would be great
 Price : under $26k
Location: I am located in San Diego. Would be nice if car is located in California or close to that but will consider transporting the right car.
Thanks
Chamilka
Cabs vs Coupes are 10 to 1 here in San Diego. But, if you search CraigsList and Car Gurus every day, you will find a good car in a month or two at max. Be sure to check out the dealerships on Coast Highway in south Orange County... there's 5 or 6 of them that always have a lot of 996 inventory. They usually are overpriced though. No idea if they are good to negotiate price with.
When we moved to San Diego, we found that traffic situation makes it very hard to enjoy the car day to day with the manual 6 speed. My wife stopped using it also since she would get stuck in traffic and it got old pretty quickly. As a result the car would sit in the garage.
Thanks
Yes I am looking Sate wide Craigs List and other websites daily. Most are extremely over priced, some are very low mile examples so rightfully more expensive which is not what I am looking for. I have had good success in Rennlist in the past hence positing it here.
So ... I got a Arctic silver C4S with factory sport exhaust, Sport techno wheels, painted interior and lot more goodies. Funny thing is that the car was located about 10 houses next me, I walked o see the car
I had never seen it on the street!!!. Car came with Binder full of service records all done at the dealership, 88k miles, IMS done etc. 100% stock except the modern bluetooth display.
So far very happy with it.

JayG, Thank you! The C4S is a show piece
and it will hit the track, however I do have Boxster that I am prepping for the track in summer, I will try to bring that, but It needs tires, one wheel and brake flush not sure I can do all that in time, but I will sure to ping you.
Man!!! how did you guess? Yes I bought it from him, he is few houses next to me
. Did't get the watch, but got a car cover, extra Factory sport ex, C4S model car ... and few more goodies.
Ok JayG we need to meet up
I want to update on the Porsche Sport Exhaust, I think I misspoke or misunderstood this option. Per the Build sheet (window sticker) it came with "Stainless Steel exhaust Pipes $765". The second owner later installed a Porsche Sport Exhaust from Porsche (per service records) I don't have the PSE button on the dash. I think the PSE probably was more than just the Exhaust.
There are so many little touches in this car, for example: interior is paint to match exterior which gives a really nice look. Gear **** has an embedded tiny metal Porsche emblem, sport techno wheels, Arctic silver mesh on front bumper air vents, Pioneer AVIC-X930BT display. This was a $98,625 in 2003.
I saw the ad in Windblown Witness, the PCA SDR magazine
Even if you don't participate in the AX next sat, come on down so we can see it
I have a silver Boxster #990 and Cuda a blue Boxster # 420
BTW, preregistration ends this Sat
