when looking for mine I saw 3 duds for every one I thought was worth going for a test drive.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The Indy where I get some work done in Vancouver Scan Automotive has a very nice 99 c2 manual , only 55k miles 89k km .

Looks clean, and relatively low mileage. ~$23k US is not too far off given that it's had the IMSB upgrade done + clutch/FW.
Ruh roh... this may anger the Mobile-1 haters.
I keep looking at this car. It has identical options to mine and looks exactly the same with similar mileage. Only difference (other than IMS) is I paid $10,000 CDN less for mine.
$23k is high unless you like your 996 spec'd with what looks to be rust bubbles along that pinch weld at the top. This picture and the 8th picture on their site seem to show rust...? Also the interior looks quite warn in for only 50k miles. As do the motor mounts. But hey at least no expense was spared on anything else!
Edit: Sarcasm was not directed at the OP. As someone looking for the right 996, I appreciate the post. Just can't help but roll your eyes at some of the descriptions on these dealer ads.
Needs motor mounts, refreshed seats. Has few options. Very basic car. Still looks clean but I saw and drove a very nice Ocean Blue with Beige interior LSD coupe in amazing shape in Cambell Ca. for 19,000 and with low miles and the interior looked amazing. Also had LN retrofit, clutch and pressure plate done.

I didn't see any rust on the car . it could use a good detail , the drivers seat bolster needs a redye (so did mine and my car only had 35000 miles on it when I bought it) its priced in the middle of where 996s go for up here . local low milage cars go for a bit more . down around 20-23 K cdn you see lots of Japanese imports (lhd) and tired US cars.
its not my car but it looked an honest clean car and Scan are a great shop to deal with.
one of the truths about 996s is a lot of them have fallen in the hands of people who like the idea of a 911 , but can't afford to look after them properly . when looking for mine I saw 3 duds for every one I thought was worth going for a test drive.
