This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Moving on to my third 911. 3.2 Carrera-996.2-997.2 Turbo S. My 996 was a big upgrade from the Carrera and I cant yet quantify what this new Turbo will be in comparison to my Targa. Huge Im sure😎 I thought about a Raby engine and Im sure it would be great. Im looking to tour the country a bit and the all wheel drive and PDK just makes more sense. Not to mention ridiculous in speed and looks.😎 Ill be getting my Targa ready to sell soon. Its been a great 8 years with it.

POST 2Original post

That's a worthy upgrade! Congrats! Should provide quite a different driving experience and for sure some eyewatering speeds. Safe travels with the road tripping!

POST 3Original post

I will argue that the 997.2 TTS is probably the best non-GT 911 ever built. Great purchase!

POST 4Original post

I have both but I still enjoy driving the 996 more

both of your cars look great! Unfortunately I dont have the means $$ to keep the Targa. 😎

POST 7Original post

This is not my favourite colour combo, but on your car it looks just right. Wouldn't change a thing.

not really mine eitherbut it has grown on me. I think its the natural brown with deviated carpet on door bottoms too. I will get black mats😎

The 996 is objectively "worse" but the chassis feels so much more alive and playful. I get it. @85eurocarrera is the interior is all factory? The black/tan boundary on the door card is rather unusual, I've seen black top-half tan bottom-half but never a zigzag like yours.

POST 10Original post

To me the 996 is a better fit when driving light and very tossable especially on Ohlins most upgrades have exponentially higher results then other chassis

I believe its stock, but after I pulled carfax I did not complete the sale. 3 accidents and 7 ownersI was distracted buy the shiny bits🙃. I did complete this purchase, though. Wasnt even on my radar. This will be delivered this week. 😎
