Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm currently replacing my rear struts and strut mounts, I removed the strut mount bolts and these two brackets (both sides) shifted back about 1/2 inch, to replace the strut mounts I'll have to fully remove these two brackets, is there a way to move them back into their original position after fully removing them?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don't want to go much further as they are pretty stiff and definitely not pushing back forward into place easily.

POST 2Original post

I did this job on my cab and I dont remember this being an issue. I think those braces are for rollover protection, so long as it bolts up again you should be fine. Dont stress it if they dont line back up with the original witness marks from the strut nuts.
