This is not a probability of success.

end result, I replaced the plastic bushing at the end of that sensor with a ball bearing. This finally fixed my problem!!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Not sure why the text is all garbled in the post I just made. I write a description, then attached the photo, and lost my original description. oh well. the picture is a modification I made to the under dash throttle position switch. Ive been chasing a goofy / non-linear / herky-jerky throttle response issue for a while. Everything I did helped but didnt fix the full issue. end result, I replaced the plastic bushing at the end of that sensor with a ball bearing. This finally fixed my problem!! Ill make a step by step write up later if anyone is interested. much much better throttle feel. I had previously lubed up the throttle assemble and internals off the throttle position sensor..this all helped but didnt fix the issue. the ball bearing totally fixed the issue..highly recommend it if you guys are annoyed with the sticky throttle feel.
