Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I went with a Continental head unit tr7412ub or, and used a wiring harness from Bergvill F/X.
Leading evidence: 'Use wiring harness' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use wiring harness' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My car, 2000 Porsche Carrera, with no factory amp option and CDR 220 just has the two connections in the images shared. The yellow one and the black one. From this post on Pelican Parts, it looks like there should be a brown one for the speaker input into the CDR 220?

I've seen some other posts on other people with just these two wires plugged into their deck but I've also seen posts with people with the Brown Connector B plugged in. I've taken the deck out and I don't have a Brown Connector B anywhere in the dashboard area behind the deck. My deck is not playing any sound from the speakers and I was trying to troubleshoot this, hence why I went down this rabbit hole of trying to figure out the right wiring harnesses. Is anybody able to answer if non-amp cars are supposed to have a Brown Connector B or is that only for factory amp cars?
If my car isn't missing the wiring harness (Brown Connector B) how would I be able to get my speakers working or test them?
The two connectors my car has that go into the deck + the antenna (not pictured)
Did you get any guidance? I found the same situation when I took out my factory stereo, attempting to upgrade to a 2-din. I have two dashboard speakers. But can't find where they connect to the unit. Note: the unit wasn't working when i bought the car.

I just sent my Becker CDR220 in for reconditioning and bluetooth to Becker Autosound in NJ. They did a nice job.
Here is a picture of the wiring that was attached to the Becker.
Here is a picture were they were attached.
Hope it helps.
Yeah, I wasn't missing any connections. The dash speakers should be connected to the black connector. I went with a Continental head unit tr7412ub or, and used a wiring harness from Bergvill F/X.

Depending on if your car has a m490 option, you may need a different harness/adapter for. I'd also encourage you to remove the speaker covers on the dash and check if the speakers are actually installed in there. For my car, the previous owner had tracked it, so I didn't realize I wasn't getting sound because there were no speakers in the doors.
