Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not trying to rub it in to my fellow 996 owners who are dealing with cold weather, snow and such but wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas from Florida, even Santa likes visiting us in the Sunshine State with his 996 😀 Rich

POST 2Original post

The photoshop work is excellent and I can confirm very cold and snowy in NE Pennsylvania. Why I will soon return to FL and my 996 after the New Year. /X3

POST 3Original post

Wow, what a weird mashup of 911 generations, I kind of like it! Too bad about Santa's horrible accident though, should have worn his seatbelt if he didn't want to get thrown through the windshield.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I tried to capture the way some folks drive here in Florida 😀 Rich

POST 5Original post

Merry Christmas Rich and all the RL fam 68 here in Las Vegas 😁 (don't hate me)

POST 7Original post

Not true to scale. Most folks in Florida can't see over the dashboard. I'm down in West Palm Beach for a few weeks tending to some family issues. I drove, but with the amount of junk I had to haul down here from Colorado, I had to take the MB wagon. Unfortunately my 996 is resting peacefully and neglected back in Colorado. But one of my dad's neighbors has a tasty collection including an 86 G body, a 997.2 Turbo S and a 992 (I think) GT3. It helps scratch the itch until I get back to my own. Miami blue GT3 under the cover. I have a standing offer to give the G body a new home. It's a process.

Thanks, we're just trying to cope the best we can. I can't wait for spring so I can get the car out of hibernation. Merry Christmas!
