I agree, the clean lines of the 996 are close to perfect as is, but this looks really nice too (random photo from the google)

In my opinion anything more than a ducktail spoils the clean look of the 4S.

I could get by with a wing only that replaces the louvers.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have been looking around for a wing for a 4S. Not many choices for a them. Plenty of fiberglass lid/wings for gt3, etc. I could get by with a wing only that replaces the louvers.
Ideas, suggestions. I've been looking at shaw designs, but not many photos on the site of i stalled 4S options.
I recently bought the DNS Performance parts ducktail and it's awaiting paint before I install it. I am very pleased with the quality of the product. It also shipped from England to Colorado in a surprisingly short period of time.

I agree with
@Coussa
that this is as much as I want on the sexy butt of the C4S! I've seen a C4S on Instagram with the DNS ducktail and it's gorgeous, IMO.
Hi
@imhighlander
,
I live up near Bailey. Who are you using for paint in the area? I'm looking to get a hood repainted on my 1970 911.
BTW, also like that ducktail spoiler. Thanks for the link!
Thanks,
Steve
The DNS does look awesome, cant wait to see yours once finished.
Im holding off till
@circuit.heart
decklid is ready. I love the GT3 touring grill and think it will be awesome on the C4S.

Great options guys. I hadn't seen either of these ducktail designs before.
since my car is a boring seal gray, i wanted to bring a little bit of bli g to it.
There is always this...

I got a solid recommendation for these folks:

I haven't taken it in yet, but they'll likely be the choice based on my recommendation source.
Yeah, @circuitheart has a beautiful design. I decided to do the DNS one since it's already proven and available. I'm hoping to get my C4S totally dialed in the next several weeks and didn't want to keep waiting for the decklid.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you should definitely do what you want to your car. That said, the 996 C4S has one of the best looking rear ends that Porsche has made in the water-cooled era. I think the iconic look of this car is due in part to the lack of a fixed wing. It’s obviously my opinion, but the clean look of the C4S without a wing is very attractive.
......now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
I've never owned a 996, but I'm constantly thinking about getting a C4S. I need to thin out the 928 herd first.
