Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I don't feel like replacing a head unit and doing some stereo set up on a car I get to drive a handful of times a year.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I don't feel like replacing a head unit and doing some stereo set up on a car I get to drive a handful of times a year. Anyone using this cable and know where to get it? I used the search function here and bunch of people seem to like it. I'm just looking to listen to music on my phone, iphone 6S plus.
I cant seem to find the cable anywhere, anyone have any ideas of something comparable or one to sell?
Provide more details like the year of your car and which radio model. There are several different cables.
Never mind. I see the year in your signature.
This is one of the first things I did with my '99 C2 cab. I have the CDR-220.
I have absolutely zero knowledge when it comes to modern car stereos, but even I was able to do this.
There is a You Tube video of a guy where hooks up the AUX to the CDR-220 which is what clued me into being able to do this.
If you get the AUX wire harness, you simply unplug the CD plug and plug new AUX in. Done. You do lose the CD player however.
I believe I got the harness from SunCoast Porsche. It came with the special keys to remove the radio. Make sure you have the radio code.
This is super easy, also you will need some stereo removal tools. There should be some in the car folder in the glove compartment, came with the car. Normally these disappear with the years, but are easily obtainable at a car stereo shop. The radio manufacturer is called Becker, but the Blaupunkt removal tools work, cost me 50 NOK (about 5 or $7).
One thing to consider though is to get an AUX cable with shielding, the one I had got lot of interference from the mobile phone.
On some radios, Aux must be enabled. It's just a series of button presses; no programming is required. I have the cable (it's the version with both stereo 1/8" and 1st gen iPhone connectors) and the stock radio sitting on my table saw; I'll post the cable details, the head unit it works with, and the button sequence to enable AUX tonight.
This is what I did with my CDR-220; note that the instructions say "PT" button but I believe it might be labeled "TP."
