Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A while back we showed you how a Porsche 996 owner could fast forward time and transform his car's "fried egss" headlamps into the proper ovals found on the new 997 models. Auto-expert of Germany has now stepped up to show 996 owners how to rewind time back to an era when the pages of Dupont Registry were filled with Slant Nose Porsches. The Porsche 996 Flat Nose conversion was debuted at the 5th International Porsche Treffen show in Germany amongst 1,642 Porsche owners and their cars. Auto-expert announced these Porsche 996 Flat Nose body parts would be available before the end of the year, though no prices were announced.

I liked the original slantnose 911's... I've got a special place in my heart for them. It's called "The 80's". I'd take an original slantnose 911 anyday over this bastardization.
What will the Fiero guys come up with next? Good thing he didn't post a pic of the rear - it's probably got one of those HUGE ricer exhausts like you see on a Civic!
Definitly ugly. Why did they change the placement of the headlights? If they would have made pop up headlights like the original and put a better looking bumper, I think that they MIGHT make it look good. The front looks like a 2nd gen RX-7 now.
Jumping Jesus on a pogostick!!!
Of all the threads to necro, someone raises this from the dead? There is a special place in Porsche hell for you sir!
Ok. That's kinda funny.
Is there a contest going on for the oldest thread resurrection here in on the 996 forum?
Prize? What is it?
A week long European excursion with John Ireland?
A ride along with Schnelly and PeePeeEye while hearing a dissertation on the topic of why most people's English composition skills in the modern culture sucks?
Or, maybe a free ticket to the first annual mud wrestling competition between the TurBros and the Straight Aspirators?
I guess I'm alone in not hating it. conceptually, i think the idea works, but the execution per the OP is not great. This on the other hand makes me think the 996 looks great as a slant nose...

I like the look overall, but wonder what it looks like at real world suspension heights.
