Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The primary reason for knowing the correct interior color is that I need to replace or repair the dash as the leading ( front) edge of the leather on the dash has "crinkled" ( seen in the last photo) as it appears that heat caused the leather to delaminate from it's base; and to repair or replace the drivers seat left bolster or the entire seat cover.
Leading evidence: 'Replace drivers seat left bolster or the entire seat cover' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace drivers seat left bolster or the entire seat cover' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Yes, I had thought of using a VIN search site but seems there are also a few of those.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I recently purchased a 2001 996. My first Porsche since 1974. Attached is a photo of the build code attached to the underside of the front bonnet. I am having difficulty finding the interior color code. Can some one please tell me which number is the code for the interior color. It is a shade of brown but I would like to know what the color name is. Thanks
Jim
Follows are three photos of the interior of my 996. The last one is the top of the dash above the steering wheel. I did a lot of google searching to sort out all the codes on the build sticker. For some there were multiple options so it is hard to determine what the codes really indicate. For example one site says that the 996 code for natural brown leather is T11......which does not appear on my build sticker. Also photos that I have found online shows a "cinnamon brown" ( P11 code) that looks a lot like the color of my interior. It is very difficult to know what "truth" is with so many conflicting sources of information.
Definitely not Savannah beige. Cinnamon that I have seen in the past had more red. It is a little difficult to be sure because of the lighting, but it appears to my eye that is the lovely brown natural leather.
