I am testing a bunch of paints to try and match the interior door handles / shifter as close as possible.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

OMG whoever owned my car previously must have done a respray of some areas and the stuff started to get like tar, nice and sticky
What a pita to remove ! I spent hours last night removing all of it so I can paint the center console. I tried wrapping it but after screwing it up 3 times I give up LOL
whoever invented that spray on crap needs a smack upside the head !

Tester's (the model/hobby company) makes OEM paint colors in spray cans. I was lucky and found Guards Red at Hobby Lobby. If not you can find it online.
does anyone know what the OEM color is actually called? I found a paint code in a thread a few days ago but I couldn't find much on it and not sure if it was right or not
Check with "Automotive Touchup dot com". They are specialists in automotive paints and may be sble to mix up exactly the right color for you. They did match my exterior color perfectly (arctic silver, we all know how hard colors are to match). Good Luck!
thats one of the problems
I can find external colors no problem but internal I cannot find, I dont know if this internal color is the same as the artic silver?
