Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Like many of you I've had trouble getting the Rear Main Seal to install correctly. The Porsche tool is insanely expensive! I found this inexpensive tool that makes it so easy to install the RMS it's scary! Thought you all might like to know about it. Designed by a custom knife maker and Porsche enthusiast Jayson Van Camp ([email removed]). I've used his tools to install RMS seals on my 944 turbo and now on my 996 and they work fantastically. Check out the pictures, makes this an easy job to get right.
