Can you describe the fit. Does it involve the VW adapter or is it more like the 911 Design adapter. The two inches closer of the latter is not good.

I looked into this a while back and it's certainly doable (and does in fact look awesome in every pic I've seen) with a couple of caveats 1) the wheel position will be slightly different and may not be enjoyable if you're picky; (2) unless you are very good with wiring and don't mind mislabeled buttons, you need a 991 donor wheel without buttons; and (3) no one has ever figured out how to make the airbag function.
