Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone, This summer, I managed to get my hands on a pair of PSE mufflers. They are in perfect condition, have 60,000 miles on them, and don’t include all the wiring needed for the switch installation. However, I was planning to leave them open 24/7 anyway, so it's not a big deal. When we removed the rear bumper for installation, we discovered that the car already had a pair of Cargraphic mufflers. From their appearance, they seem to have been installed for quite some time. The previous owner didn't mention these mufflers, and it’s hard to believe he would have installed them himself, considering he was over 50 and worked for a large corporation. The same goes for the first owner, a typical early 60-year-old Swiss banker. We will likely never know where these mufflers came from; all I know is that I don’t have the stock muffler with the car. Now, I’m wondering whether I should keep the Cargraphic mufflers and try to recoup some money by reselling the PSE mufflers, or should I give the PSE mufflers a try? Which mufflers do you think will sound better?

POST 2Original post

I love the sound of my factory PSE mufflers paired with an old Fabspeed X-pipe and Agency Power headers!

I have the entire system. Cargraphic headers, 200 cell cats and mufflers.

That sounds awesome!

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you, gentlemen! I might consider trying the PSE mufflers since my car is currently in winter storage. Unfortunately, no X-pipes are allowed in Switzerland; they have become very strict lately, mainly due to the behaviour of some individuals with their tuned M3s and M4s.
