I just recently installed the Power Agency Exhaust on one of my 996's - I really love it, sound awesome, very close to my Fabspeed.

Swapped the modded mufflers for a Cargraphic Sport muffler and this helped a lot.

get a cold air intake like k&n and then get a good ecu software and youll have a great running car.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone have or know of agency power exhaust for 996.
Looking to upgrade in spring and came across ''this brand. Claims no drone, 10 hp gain and lighter.
I bought the same thing from maxspeed motorsports and bought the mufflers from a different co because they were not in stock. All are very good and probably made in the same place, china/tiawan.
Dont buy just one piece, buy the complete exhaust, youll get alot more hp and air flow. get a cold air intake like k&n and then get a good ecu software and youll have a great running car. dont waste money on buying one piece because you wont get any difference in the feel of the car
I heard they make your stock tips stick out about an inch, which is why I purchased Afterhours exhaust due to weight savings alone. $900 for a lot of noise and great weight savings.

A friend had the Agency Power mufflers on his C4S. Build quality was good, as was fitment. However, it wasn't very loud (which is a good thing for a lot of people). Definitely no drone.
This is a video I made about the Milltek's that ECS sells (there's a link on here somewhere.)
I'm sure they're about the same as the Agency Powers but I'm not 100%

Sorry to hijack this thread.
@Vandersmith: Is this your setup in the video?
In case yes. Which topgear X-pipe do you have? The larger bore (2.5") version or the OEM bore size version?
I am asking because I recently upgraded to the topgear headers together with the larger bore X-pipe. In combination with the Carnewal-modded mufflers which the previous owner intalled, the exhaust resonated and droned like hell. Swapped the modded mufflers for a Cargraphic Sport muffler and this helped a lot. The Carnewal mod somehow amplifies the lower frequencies to create their improved sound. Right now there is left some resonance and drone between 2400-3200rpm under half to wide open throttle. From there in the higher rpms the sound is fantastic.
The drone still bothers me a little bit. As my car is a daily ...and 2000-3000rpm is a frequently driven rpm range for commuting. So I am wondering if the drone originates from 200cell with x-design and amplified by the larger bore, causing higher low frequency resonance and if the drone would be less with the smaller diameter X-pipe. Another option would be to switch to the standard 200cell cross over cats. Is there a chance that the sports headers would be the culprit?
Is the Agency Brand offshore/Chinese made?
Interesting they are getting some good feedback and the prices sure seem reasonable...looking for something to bolt on this coming season and also shopping around.
Chris
of course, any lower cost brand are mostly chinese made. So that being said, they are about all chinese made. except like cargraphic , tubi etc. Which cost 5000 to 7000. They are just copies of a well designed system. the headers have the same camfered ports, the metal is all SS, the cats are 200 cell and if you look at the mufflers, they are all the same as every other muffler, just rebracketed for different cars.
Its all just metal tubes, what is the reason for more expensive tubes?
I have the NHP 200 cell crossover cats (through Maxspeed), and like OKB I'm pretty sure are they exactly the same as Agency's. Support through Maxspeed was great at time of purchase, I'd definitely use them again. 2 years later and they are in great shape still. I just had a really good look at the welds about a month ago
