Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok so I never intended for my car to be down for 10 months. My brain slipped a little and my parts got moved around without tagging them correctly... (I had helpers). I am assembling the engine and couldn't tell which cam set went in which head. After some digging online there are supposed to be different color solienoids??? Well mine doesn't. It does however have embossed 1-3 and 4-6 on them... whew. I am replacing the pads pads and seals in a few minutes and was kicking myself. Luckily these were the only things that didn't get labed.

POST 2Original post

Nice and right on, luckily they are labeled to the corresponding set of cylinders that they go to. Had the same happen when I did my refresh and it made it easy to identify for sure and easy to reassemble. That's awesome that you are doing your solenoid pads.
