Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When replacing my fuel injectors, some of the factory tape on the electrical harness was fraying and unraveling. I found tesa 51036 to be a near perfect match for the OEM tape and has all the properties you'd need in the engine bay: withstands high temperatures (~300F), abrasion resistance, and flame retardant. Can be found on Amazon if you search for it by name.

POST 3Original post

I have that, and the other Tesa flavor that’s the fuzzy type used for interior wiring. When I go back to the garage I’ll grab that number.

POST 4Original post

I did the cheap version from Ali Express. Worked too.
