Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey all, replaced the hydraulic pistons for a customers 2002 cab due to the usual leaking. When I removed them I got the top and clam shell closed and sent it on the way since it was going to be a week before I got these rebuilt. Got the car back today and go to put the top in the service position and the front latch would not unlatch but the clam opened up to it's usual spot. So went ahead and put everything back together and tried to actuate the top via the key, nothing. Clam shell is currently in the open position and does not want to close with a bit of force via the owners manual. I can't seem to get the front latch undone using the reverse method shown in any documentation so it's stuck good. The Durametric is not helpful at all as far as commands to undo the latch or activate the clam shell. Talking with Durametric and they are of zero assistance saying the synchronization always works and they have no commands to input for what I need.
Anyone encountered this?
Yep, on version 6.5.1.7 and the option to do the sync is there. But w/o the front latch getting disengaged or the clamshell closing, it refuses to do it. And unlike the PIWIS there are no commands (ready to click) on the DM so you'd have to have the command lines to enter. I'm guessing that they are not even in the DM to actuate. I'd just drive the car over to the dealership except the clam is open. Was hoping someone would have the command codes that we could enter in to the DM.
I just did the calibration on my car yesterday, you will need the latest software update from Durametric..... but uninstall your current software first and update your USB driver also. When you do the command for calibration, make sure top is open and it will go thru the procedure on its own.
Opening the clamshell is easy with the tools, try reversing it and the screw in bung you open it with comes unscrewed so closing it is........interesting.
Now I know why the clam won't move. The error I get when calibration with a PIWIS says the activation can not occur due to the hard top being installed. Except it's not. Micro switches on the flaps are all in the proper position. Front latch shows properly closed. Looks like I cant seem to locate the top microswitch. Search continues.
The top front latch can be opened using the manual open procedure in the owners manual
If all you did was to remove and intall the hydraulic cylinders, did you properly connect the potentiometer #5 in above diagram?
