Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The 996 Essential Companion book said Bosch FR6 spark plugs and the Bosch website says part# 7410 (which is FR6LDC). I ordered FR6, but now where I am looking on the web says FR5 spark plugs. Have anyone used the FR6?

POST 2Original post

I went through this last year. As I remember, there was a change in spec with model year. I "believe" it was 3.4L - 3.6L. So effectively, both plugs are correct, jut depends on your model year.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, Don't work on cars late at night. Plugs in car had a "R5" in green but when look on the metal ring of the plug you can see the part number. I have 6 Heat Type plugs in the car. Duh.
