Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Let me know what you are using on what so I get this right.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've had my 2003 C4S for about a year now and it's time to do some deeper cleaning.
I've realized that I'm not 100% clear about what I'm dealing with in this car. It has the sport seats, which, along with the steering wheel and back seats, I assume are leather. But once you get beyond that...dashboard (LOOKS like leather), center console, rear of seats,...what am I dealing with here exactly? This has the minor carbon trim, which I assume will respond to typical detailing products.
Let me know what you are using on what so I get this right.
Thanks.
I clean all my interior with hot water and 409 lemon sent. ( this one because it is light color and wont stain white or light color fabric) Scrub, and wipe everything with a soft cloth, or microfiber. small spray of 409 and more on stained parts, or you can mix with water, and then rewipe with plain hot water.
Wipe dry with dry towels. and it will evaporate and air dry. Leave the doors open for a nite or dry outside. After its clean you can put some conditioner on everything. And it will soak in.
Also use a paint brush to wipe dust off vents and trim areas
Compressed air is your friend. I use compressed air and an air wand to clean out the crevices between the seats and the other tight areas.
Gently pull the seams in the seats apart so you can blow out any junk that gets stuck in there. Very important as this is what will make those seems start ripping if you don't address it.
I use Lexol cleaner and Lexol conditioner in my cars for leather surfaces. Your C4S has a leather dash, leather door panels, and some leather parts on the center console and stack. Your a-pillars should also be covered in leather. Depending on the options for your car, you could have more leather.
The guy who runs "Ammo Detailing" has several Youtube videos about interior cleaning. The guy obviously has an OCD issue, which is exactly what you want in a car detailer.
Thanks for the input everyone. While we're on the subject, I notice that where the "leather" has been nicked on the center console and elsewhere (not the seats, dashboard or steering wheel) there is black showing through. Not too good looking. Anyone advise what that's all about? Does not seem too far sighted on the part of Porsche, which is uncharacteristic.
