Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have also used the Porsche-branded protectant, which I am convinced is exactly the same as Raggtop.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am sure it is here somewhere but ... Been told yes to special soap and treatment, no to soap - yes to treatment et al. Let me know your thoughts. Top is decent just faded on front edge, plastic window is very clean and clear.

POST 2Original post

RaggTopp cleaner and protectant. But it won't help the current fading. 303 is very good, too. Never wash with soap for your routine maintenance. Only water. Sticky tape roller in between washes or as needed. Plexus for your rear window.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great thx, definetly rules out buffalo urine

POST 6Original post

303 brand has good reviews also. Both seem to be top notch.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seriously, appreciate all the help guys. BTW I think the buffalo suggestion was from a sneaky Lambo driver

+1 on all of this. Although I seldom use any cleaner at all, unless there is a specific dirt spot. Just water and a sponge, hose off, and dry. Sticky lint roller for debris or fibers. I put at least two coats of Raggtop protectant on every spring. I also coat the matching roll-bar cover strip behind the rear seats with Raggtop, since it is exposed to the sun. My top is 17 years old and still going strong. I have also used the Porsche-branded protectant, which I am convinced is exactly the same as Raggtop. It comes in exactly the same shape can, with the same spray nozzle. I suspect it's just rebranded. I have actually found it cheaper than Raggtop on Amazon on occasion.
