Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

Suggestion
Arguably they were using ill-timed farts to set the colors.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Was surfing on eBay and found this 996. Like the exterior color though the interior color leaves something to be desired.

Exterior is cool although a bit too attention-grabbing for me. I like the rims, body kit and overall stance, too. The rhubarb 'n' custard interior is vomit-inducing though.
I agree. I like everything but the interior, but just tint the windows dark and keep your eyes on the road ahead and all is well.
This is a very nice price for a rare and high performance(relatively speaking in the GT3 territory) car. I might even say I'd rather have this than pay $20-$30k more for a MK2 GT3 model.
Seriously fugly interior. But somebody liked it enough to specify it. No doubt the folks in Stuttgart are still laughing (or horrified) over that order).

As the owner of a MK II GT3, I'd say "Spend the extra $$" Just my opinion.
Well the RUF got more exclusivity, the same tub and engine as the GT3, and basically the same suspension and brakes as the GT3, so for me the exclusivity wins out. Not to mention with the savings, I can buy a loaded
Miata.
Retail on this was $250k btw. :wow:
Orange over burgundy and tan with a brown headliner? Someone was using darts to choose colors?
After seeing some of the factory color options, I can only guess that Porsche upholsterers are all guys like me who have no idea what colors go together, so they just shrug and do whatever the build sheet says.
The interior of that car looks like a 70's **** set.
My former employer has one of these. I think he said Ruf only built 15 or 16 RGTs. Those aren't the factory wheels. Car had MK1 GT3 running gear, though I think the engine puts out slightly more HP.
