2002 996 Targa, Engine Audi 2.7t running OE ECU with immobilizer defeated.

Before the alarm issue I was performing the key hack of removing the transponder pill from the only key I have to install on the ignition key surround, to be able to use VW/Audi keys.

Scenario-Locked car with key drivers door. Wireless locking/unlocking never worked (key was lost off a front porch for apx a year). Unlocked car with key in drivers door. Started car. Hazard lights and interior lights start their rapid flash. Car can be driven with lights flashing (alarm horn inop). Before the alarm issue I was performing the key hack of removing the transponder pill from the only key I have to install on the ignition key surround, to be able to use VW/Audi keys. I dropped the pill apx three feet onto the floor. No visible damage but I believe it has internal damage. Battery disconnected over night. Alarm module disconnected over night. Lights still flash. Is it possible to disable the alarm module. Can Durametric clear the alarm code or do I need PIWIS? Or do I need to get it to my Porsche dealer 1.5 hours away? Thank you.
I could be 100% wrong, but without the immobilizer code I believe you're not going to solve anything. That will be a trip to the dealer.
I have ordered a new key and FOB. My original key works, but my backup key fob never did. Then I lost my backup key (in the house) so instead of just the FOB I ordered a key and FOB. I have a PIWIS 3 clone, but can't do anything since the dealer won't give me the code. Result, I have an appointment to go today to get the key coded.
If the dealer won't give you the code, register for a PPN account. You may be able to get all the codes at no cost, but worst case scenario, you pay for 1-hour of access at $17 and it will give them to you.

So, what ecu are you using the 2.7 Audi or the 996...? Seems like you mean the 996 ecu..? If so, not sure how that 996ecu could control boost and the 2.7 fueling/timing/retard..? Was it reprogrammed for the 2.7..? Did everything work then..?
Back to your specific alarm problem. In order to program immobilizer you need
IPAS codes
. To program new keys/fobs, you also need the
key code
that comes with new keys. Not sure dealer can give you those key codes on old or new keys not from the dealer. Maybe ECU doctors can..?
