Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im installing an LN 2qt Deep Sump kit now. How long do I have to wait until I can add oil? how long before I can drive again? Loctite tube says 24h cure time. Is that correct?

POST 2Original post

24 hours of cure time before putting in oil....is what I've heard.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well luckily I don't need to drive the car until Monday so I can wait until tomorrow afternoon to add the oil. That doesn't mean I don't want to be driving it now.

POST 5Original post

Ahhhh...first world problems! Difficult to be patient.

POST 6Original post

Are people using 5900 as a sealant for the oem oil sump plate? I'll be taking mine off in the near future and have been reading conflicting answers about what to use as a sealant when putting it back on.
