Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Radio wont power on (I have learned thats no surprise), visor mirror covers both busted off, K&N filter intake will be removed and replaced by the stock unit that I also received, and need to source a B pillar seat belt cover to get specific.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Car is from Florida and in very nice condition, it is exactly what I was looking (and hoping) for. I drove straight from the dealer to the garage and will sit there till summer as the Illinois winter is still gearing up, and the salt will be in full force on the streets.
Car has a few things to address, as well as some things I may want to change back. Already have a small list of things Id like to do as far as exhaust, IMS, tune up, fluids replaced, and a few of the general maintenance items described on the forum.
Dealer experience was good, decent guy to deal with. Got a fair price I think, and a new battery
Unsure on the rear spoiler, its definitely distinctive but a little much. May need to remove or just get use to it.

Car is clean and nice, drives wonderful. Look forward to the new season to get some mileage and experience logged. The wealth of information around here is incredible and appreciated, hope I can contribute and be more involved at some point. Have experience with the V12 Mercedes S600 so the German thing is not too much of a stranger!

Thanks Hawk...I need some outside time in the summer to determine the spoiler thing next summer. Oh, the factory unit will not raise either....so there is another project.
KC, thanks for the welcome as well. I do know about the registry and have been in touch with the owner of it as I was hoping to connect with the previous owner of my car. Hopefully with all positive feedback....!

David23, I was not fortunate enough to get the luggage or umbrella in the deal; I am sure it's long gone. I got the floor mats so I am going to consider myself lucky there....haha.
You are in a nice part of the country, love to be cruising around there at any time of year.
Chris
Congrats on the new ride from another contented 40th AE owner! As to be expected there will be a never ending list of mods, repairs and maintenance items to address on a 12+ year old car however I have found that most of the work can be DIY. I actually enjoy working on the car and consider that part of the equation a positive of the P-car ownership experience.
I am sure it will seem like a long winter wait for you but good times ahead.
Fracture, love the wheels in your avatar. I was thinking about something different, but then I should have not gotten the 40th in my opinion. Well, maybe will get another style and go back and forth, I don't know yet.
40,200 miles - not to bad? According to the super accuracy of the Carfax report (insert your opinion here) it states three prior owners. From what I was able to decipher, one owner had it and the miles look to have not changed. Best I can take away from that is a dealership licensed it for sale? I don't know for sure, but I feel comfortable saying I am the third owner. I guess technically I am the fourth but the lack of any movement with the number two registration makes my mindset up.
It was a Florida car it's entire life and the underneath is beautiful. I feel fortunate the deal worked out and the car is mine.

hard to come by, but there is a set on eBay
My 40th came with the polished wheels and a set of MY02's, the AE
wheels were just a bit 'dainty' (not too mention unblemished) and I wanted a more 'planted' look
Thanks for the continued welcomes. I wish the summer would get here now as starring at this car in the garage is really making this hard! I did make a post, slowly connecting here and have been getting tons of valuable information from fellow members, has been great.
Spinout, do you know the make or style of the wing on my car? I have been looking at a slew of pictures of others cars and I cannot seem to find similar.
