Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just bought a 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet two day ago. I had to charge the battery and in doing so I noticed two fasteners missing. Located to the right of the battery cover and near the windshield washer fill. One is located on each side of the car holding down the cowling. I've scoured the internet looking at parts diagrams but can't fine the replacements. The one that's in the cowling is broken and has a torx head. The end of the fastener that goes into the hole appears to have a plastic piece that is broken, thus not being able to secure the cowling. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement? Thanks

If you get the ones from a dealer, make sure you get the bolts as well. Theyre super cheap and cost about 1/10th of the shipping costs. I just ordered some nuts and found that pelican parts was the cheapest including shipping
