Given the P-specs and what I have, what do you recommend for spacers to make "fit better" and also move wheel/tire out for appearance.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am asking the great multitude of P experts and pseudo-experts about wheel spacers for '04 C4S. I have reconditioned new-to-me 18" wheels. Front 8x18 ET 57, Rear 11x18 ET 51. P specs are 48-52 ET Front and 43-47 ET Rear. Wheels are Design 47 BBS IIRC. New tires are 225/40x18 and 295/30x18. Tires are not mounted yet. I have the P-Twists, but really not a fan of the Twists. I am starting the hoopla-gizmo-magic-stuff for paint correction, and other mechanical projects. Given the P-specs and what I have, what do you recommend for spacers to make "fit better" and also move wheel/tire out for appearance. Car has standard suspension 030 (similar to Turbo), not lowered, just the way it comes from P. I think I will need some spacers anyway, as the ETs do not meet P-specs. I do not have rolled fender lips, or other doodahs. Better looks OK, a bit farther "out", not excessive, don't want rubbing issues. What do you think? TIA YMMV

POST 2Original post

It sounds like you already know what you need to do, you just need to do it. Rennline makes 10mm spacers that will work well in the front and 7mm spacers that will work well in the rear. You could use a little more spacer in the front if you plan on slapping the top hats inward at the shock tower for more camber.
