I have decided to add wheel spacers to me 996.1 Aero coupe strictly for cosmetic reasons. What size/brand spacers did you go with? I�m running stock tire sizes and want to push the wheels out a bit. Car has coilovers. Pictures would be great to see with size description!

On a 996.2 NB with 8/10 Carrera 2 wheels... 15mm F/R on 225x40x18 and 285x30x18 -or- 12mm F/R on 235x40x18 and 285x35x18 No problems at all.

Put a old wheel underneth the Tire on the back and measure, how much space you got to the Fender. Thats minus 2-5mm is your Spacer Size. You can ask people, if they got exactly the same size of Wheels and Tires and rolled or not rolled fenders. For me: i got non, but i will try 3 and 5mm... with 9x18 et 49 and 11x18 ET56 on a small body Gen1 996

My C2 had 20mm front spacers with no issues and slightly rolled guards. Although it is running -2deg. camber all around. I've just got some 15mm spacers and rennline comp wheelstuds/nuts to install at all 4 corners. If you have any issues either roll the guards or add neg. camber.
