Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Adjust these' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Adjust these' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Although you may have to remove the door panel to fully adjust the window glass not to rub, before doing that, here is an idea.

Suggestion
Nice design as it allows you to check window position before tightening the clamps down.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Team 996,
I've found my driver's door sometimes sticks opening but it wasn't from a lack of dropping when you use the handle. That looks ok to me.
Tonight I've discovered that the door's glass is rubbing / hard up against the rear 1/4 window. See photos for a clearer picture.
Door panel gaps are fine.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Ha. Had the exact same problem. I gently removed the door panel, peeled back the weather barrier, and ever so slightly moved the glass forward in the track. Its the two 10mm bolts at the bottom that hold the glass in the track. Still dont know how it happened but its fixed now. Not a difficult job, just be very careful with the plugs and the clips. I didnt break a single one. Hardest part was prying out the airbag plug hiding one of the screws.
Aligning the window glass is an art. You have to remove the door panel (search for how to do that and follow the instructions exactly, disconnect battery or you will trigger an airbag light). The window glass is held by clamps inside the door panel. Mark the current position with a sharpie or grease pencil. Then loosen the window clamps so you can slightly move the window in the clamps. It will move fore and aft and tilt forward and backwards. Measure the glass spacing from the rear window top and bottom and move the glass slightly to achieve an even spacing from the rear window. A plastic gauge might help achieve even spacing top to bottom. Like I said, it's an art and requires patience.
Although you may have to remove the door panel to fully adjust the window glass not to rub, before doing that, here is an idea.
At the bottom of the door, you have to be laying on ground and looking up, there are 2 small access holes that are plugged. The 2 plugs, if I recall properly, are responsible for the tilt of the window fore and aft. I was able to adjust these to address a similar problem you are having. It gave me just enough adjustment and the window does not leak or wind noise.
I would try this first as an easy fix. I tried looking for where I found this out, but it was more than 8 years ago and couldn't find the links. Pelican has some articles that speaks to these adjustment bolts.
Thanks everyone. A new behaviour has just started. When you open the car door (from inside or outside) the window drops. However it instantly goes straight back up. I.e Whilst the door is open the window is at full height and therefore cannot close the door unless I hold the handle up.
So is this just the micro switch issue or is it both micro switch and window regulator?
I would bet on microswitch, but there's a easy way to check if it's the regulator too, just slips my mind at the moment, something about pushing down on the glass to see if it moves or something like that
I had a similar problem when we got our car

You don't need to take the vapor barrier off like I did
Remove the rubber plugs near the top of the bare door and those allow access to the window clamps while the window is in the up position.
Nice design as it allows you to check window position before tightening the clamps down.
Window going up/down a bit unexpectedly would be a micro switch in the door lock module or a loose/worn window regulator.
