Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

LOL memories, back in high school best friend had a bug eye, we would go thru clutches, the two of us would pull the 4 banger out by hand and replace the clutch and install the engine by hand.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can anyone tell me if the wind screen helps very much and is it worth it. Thanks

POST 2Original post

With the top down, I don't go anywhere without the windscreen on, yes it helps. actually, I never take it of even with both tops on.

POST 3Original post

It works 1000%. Freeway driving with windscreen is so calm and pleasant. Especially if you have a female passenger with longer hair. Then it's calm and pleasant times 2.

POST 4Original post

100% it's great for anyone with long hair. Sadly, not my problem. If I drive with the main windows up, I don't see much difference, but I don't use it because it stops me from putting the seat all the way back. And John CA58 is right. You can leave it in with the top up or down.

POST 5Original post

I love it, but I wish there were more options because as others have pointed out, it restricts the seat from being too far back. Plus, at this point the plastic on mine is quite brittle and its being held together by epoxy and good vibes.

POST 6Original post

+1 to what everyone saiid above. My wife and I both have longer hair and the windscreen makes drives so calm and civilized. Way different than when driving the Sprite where you feel part of the scenery, including the wind. Both are fun!

My Dad had a sprite when I was growing up in Sunnyvale.

POST 8Original post

"Worth it" is subjective. I like it because it reduces the wind noise significantly. Would I buy one if mine didn't come with one? Probably not, unless it was a great deal.

Two different kinds of fun! (Windscreens not installed)

Nice! as a kid we would ride in the back of the Sprite

POST 11Original post

LOL memories, back in high school best friend had a bug eye, we would go thru clutches, the two of us would pull the 4 banger out by hand and replace the clutch and install the engine by hand. lots of fun in that car.
