You might want to make damn sure you put an in-line fuse as close to that wire as possible.

The original factory cell phone plug is the way to go for your request. [IMPORTANT!] Always pull the E8 fuse BEFORE splicing these wires! Brown = Ground Red / Green = Constant 12+ volts Green / Black = Switched 12+ volts Yellow / Black = relayed 4+ Volt Signal (originally used for Radio Mute when using the factory cellphone) Here's what it looks like (see image) and is located in the center console below the radio.
