Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I can't figure out how this happened, other than it was late and the buyer was really, really drunk at Barrett-Jackson. It was the end of the broadcast and some regular cars were coming across the block. There were a handful of MB AMG SLs from early 2000's that went for what seemed to be above market prices even without the buyers premium. This was the last car to roll on stage on TV, and it ended before the bidding was over. Here is the sales pitch: Lot #849 - Finished in black with black leather interior, this 911 Carrera has heated seats, Tiptronic automatic-transmission buttons on the steering wheel, CD player, sport brakes and 18" turbo-look wheels. The odometer reads 113,461 miles. This car has a clean CARFAX with CARFAX service history. Record breaking 996 C2 This is either a sign of good things to come for the 996 market , or a cautionary tale of Poor Life Decisions. BTW, I have a 99 Aerokit with 164k, no buttons on the steering wheel, and a clean CARFAX with CARFAX service history. Asking $99,600.
