I tried a tested amplifier with the same part number from a porsche breakers and it made no difference

Its under the drivers seat (uk car) i unplugged the most fiber and looped it back on itself and problem resolved

I know there are a load of posts on this problem but i was wondering if someone could advise me where to go from here. I have recently purchased a 2003 996 convertible with a few issues and this is the last problem i need to sort. When i turn on the PCM after a few seconds the message, system error:navigation system, amplifier, CD changer, phone not available appears. 1. The fuses in the kick panel are all ok. 2. The amplifier and cd changer all power up 3. I tried a tested amplifier with the same part number from a porsche breakers and it made no difference 4. I have check the MOST (fiber optics cable) and there is light running round the entire circuit (too and from all the units) 5. I do have the corded phone option fitted to side of my console but it doesnt seem to part of the fiber optic setup. Can the phone cause this problem or am i looking at a pcm issue

Just incase anyone else has the same problem the phone system is on the most network. Its under the drivers seat (uk car) i unplugged the most fiber and looped it back on itself and problem resolved
