Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
The EVOMS unit is essentially the same for half the price with tested results including if you end up going with the larger plenum and throttle bodies.
Leading evidence: 'Test results including if you end up going' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Test results including if you end up going' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It is hard to tell from the photo's, but it feeds from the same spot as the factory box. It is basically like an Evoms in carbon fiber. Only more expensive.
If I'm gong to spend money on a cosmetic mod (you're not going to get any performance improvement with this), I'd spend it where it can be seen - really, how often do you open the engine compartment?
With the price company's are charging for exhaust components for our cars, I'm surprised everyone is scoffing at the price on this. For 50 dollars more than the Fabspeed you get something actually pulling cold air. The Fabspeed does look awesome though. I think I'll stick with the stock box and upgraded filter for now.
This one looks pretty and everything appears to be in the right place. You're paying for the looks it seems like but I'm also a CF ***** and would have pulled the trigger if it was a few hundred less.

The K&N is a nice looking and sounding design however the MAF sensor location is 14-16" of tubing away from the Throttle Body where as all other designs including stock have it directly before to get more accurate readings.
Give me the same design in fiberglass and without the bling for over 1/2 the price and I'd consider it.
I have the Evoms but it can have the potential to do slightly better as witnessed on the dyno, with and without decklid closed(or modified deck lid).
One of these days, I'll have to Saran Wrap my engine and go to town with some expanding foam to get a baseline mold going.
