Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi every one and Happy Holidays , I have been seeing black sod on my pumper on the driver side for while , any guess why I get that and every once in while I get code P0492 , P0491 . I had changed my AOS once already since I owned my car and need to change it again . I am thinking if I need to change or do any thing else its good time to do it .
Best advice I can offer is address the errors you are sure of, the P0492/P0493 errors codes and their causes.
Once you get that the source of the error codes taken care of then clean the bumper cover and drive the car.
Absent any other signs of any engine (or engine subsystem) problems I'd just continue to drive the car.
Not sure the AOS needs to be replaced. You need more than just a bit of discoloration at the bumper cover to replace the AOS. Most often a failing/bad AOS makes itself known with more distinct symptoms/signs: varying engine idle, stumble/hesitation off idle, CEL, excessive low pressure in the crankcase, and course consistent and persistant smoking at start up and beyond.
Ideally if the crankcase fumes didn't carry a heavy load of oil vapor the oil vapor would probably be shared by if not all cylinders at least by some cylinders on both banks.
But the AOS sucks and often passes through fumes loaded with oil vapor.
In this case then the fumes that pass through the AOS and heavily laden with oil vapor this vapor impacts the intake wall across from where the AOS hose connects to the intake. Because of the way the intake is constructed only one bank receives the bulk of this vapor, in the form of liquid oil that the vapor produces.
When the engine is shut off and the intake heat soaks and oil that has collected on the intake wall then runs down intake wall and ends up in one maybe two cylinders of one bank.
