So my 996 ('99) has an aftermarket exhaust (Billy Boat) I believe. The passenger side exhaust tip sticks out further than the driver's side one. The consequence is it doesn't look that good and the passenger side tip sometimes scrapes when backing out of steeper driveways. Any ideas on how this could be fixed. Looks like there is no length that could be cut out. Thanks! Passenger side Driver's side

Tips can be adjusted. Sagging tips on one one or both sides is often a sign of failing motor mounts. How old are your motor mounts?

they are not sagging. One just sticks out more than the other. So it's front to back difference not top to bottom. Can they adjust horizontally?

Ok I figured it out. The part of the tip that is visible in the picture is actually is an outer piece that slides over an inner sleeve. The fit is no longer tight probably through hot and cold cycling so that's why the passenger side slid backwards. I think the only way to fix it is to tack weld it. I may just get some new tips. Thanks gents!
