Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone running them? How do you find them and what do they ride like?

POST 2Original post

Yup Good. They are usually fitted with lowering springs - I have H&R blue, in '03 C2 manual. Big improvement over standard setup - sharper turn in, less roll in corners, improved damping, and minimal effect on ride quality, car has much less pitch and bob. Highly recommend. Probably not with standard springs - I think the B6 is for those?

POST 3Original post

I have the B8's with H&R springs and sway bars. I run a few DE's a year and like the setup. Was considering coilovers but wanted to keep it simple. Ride is firm but not harsh.

POST 4Original post

This is WOT coming up the esses at Watkins Glen Not a lot of ground clearance, but is manageable if you are careful I run them with Techart springs and sway bars, 7000+ miles on them

POST 5Original post

I've got B8's with H&R sport springs, H&R heavy duty adjustable sways, Tarett camber plates(front) and adjustable drop links. Great ride (so much better than the worn out stock B4's) and flat as a pancake through corners. Firm but smooth...

POST 6Original post

I have B8's with Techart lowering springs. My car is pretty low, just high enough to make it over 90% of the speed bumps in town. The ride is firm but not what I would call harsh. Corners beautifully.

POST 7Original post

ride is firm but far from harsh, use with lowering springs, (HR's on mine w Sway bar) Handles great now. Looks are much improved. Got to watch approach angles with driveway humps, but worth it. Install is 1/2 day plus Alignment afterwards (I'd wait a week for everything to settle) Good luck Mike
