Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I changed the pollen filter, bonnet struts, cleaned the intake, throttle, refuel the cabriolet hydraulic pump and re-ran some wirings.

Filling the hydraulic oil is easier than replacing the air filter 😅
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all, got my 2000 996 cabriolet for a month, did some minor maintenance work and loving it.
I changed the pollen filter, bonnet struts, cleaned the intake, throttle, refuel the cabriolet hydraulic pump and re-ran some wirings.
So far so good until today. I decided to change the air filter, piece of cake. Then I realised the engine bay was full of dust and tried to clean it up. Problem comes, where I pulled a tiny hose by accident ... I was able to plug in one end, but couldn't locate where the other end is supposed to go!!! Tried searching the internet but difficult to find a clue, I'm hoping it's a valve hose and the other end is supposed to let loose to release air/vapour. Hoping to get some help from you experts here.
Thanks a million.
Is the other end is supposed to be loose end?
Nice car! You did the same thing I did with my cabriolet. That is, adding the turbo/C4S bumper and aero side skirts. It really changes the whole look... very nice!!!
