Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Im looking for a shop to perform the Gundo, any recommendations Chicago NW side preferably.

POST 3Original post

I went to a muffler shop, showed them pictures, showed them what I wanted done, and they ordered the stainless and did the work. Ill dig up which shop in a bit It was SuperMAX muffler and brakes at 6230 W. North Avenue, Chicago, IL 60639, [phone removed] , and the name who signed it was J.R. That was January 2017, price was $220.

If this is nearby for you? Purchased a 944 from the Chicago area one month ago, and these folks did a great PPI for me. Went to church with one of the junior mechanics here in the Houston area, before he moved up north. Great reputation! http://www.dynamicbmw.com

No experience with Chicago Auto Pros but Lustr Detail in Palatine is excellent.

POST 9Original post

I had a good experience with ppf film in Chicago—their full-front package covers the bumper, hood, fenders and headlights, and they offer XPEL, 3M, STEK and LLumar films. Worth checking for a 996.

If you want the absolute best of the best PPF guy, I recommend StatusDetail. He's in Aurora, is an absolute standup guy, and although he does all makes and models, he's been getting so many Porsches the past couple of years, he's quickly becoming the big name in the Porsche world. Here is an example of his work: You Tube Note: Please do not discredit him for calling it a Porsh. Not everyone is an uptight about these things as I am, lol

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
