Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, new member here. Got my 911 about 3 weeks ago, figure I'd go ahead and post a couple pics. I just wish I hadn't waited so long to pull the trigger and get a 911. And while I've got your attention, can any recommend an independent shop in Tucson? I bought the car from the dealer, who serviced it it's whole life, so I figure I'll continue that for routine maintenance, but I'll need an independent to do the IMS bearing.

That is beautiful and I LOVE those wheels. Very nice.

Congrats! Also about three weeks with my new to me Arctic Silver. Looks like you found an excellent example.

POST 7Original post

Welcome and glad to see the wait is over for you as you seem to have found a perfect match Porsche. Congratulations, sorry I can't recommend anyone in the Tucson area as far as Indy's but the 996 is a great DIY friendly car which I hope you end up having a blast with.

POST 9Original post

Very nice! What model year is your car? You might have a double row IMS bearing which would be a lesser concern. You might also have a replacement engine with another bearing setup.

POST 10Original post

Congrats and great looking car! Are those aero kit rocker panels? Its a great look.
