Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
For anyone seriously considering this car, they're going to want a $4k consideration to replace the bearing...
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Kind of hard to say without spending more time on it, but the 99 is particularly desirable to many enthusiasts, and for many, the low mileage will add to the value. Just a guess, but if everything is up to date and in good condition, clean carfax and well documented history, high $20's to $30 k for the right buyer. It'll take the right buyer though... I'd post an ad on the PCA site and in Panorama. For non-enthusiasts, who won't know about build quality, early IMS bearing, cable throttle, etc, it's just a low mileage old 996, so you're competing against $15-20k cars. Nutty Professor will go all Jake Raby when he sees this
Quote Kind of hard to say without spending more time on it, but the 99 is particularly desirable to many enthusiasts, and for many, the low mileage will add to the value. End quote. Its a 2001 (not a 99) or am I missing something?
24-25k street/ craigslist cash now price.
28-29 BAT price wait it out/have it sitting in your garage for 8 months price with perfect photos and all the info for buyers waiting for the right one.
That is just a huge guess.....Every used car is different no matter if its a kia or ferrari. Used cars need to be seen in person by a qualified person to know what they are worth and its always subjective.
Thanks for your replys
the problem trying to sell this car is,
i get it out of the garage on a sunny day and
do some detailing, drive a little and it makes me reconsider.
my problem is I have too many cars and the other cars Im deeply invested emotionally by way of restoration and modifications I personally bid
Zanzibar is very rare. The cinnamon leather combo is fantastic too. Id already have cash on the hood if she were an Aerokit car.
Does anyone else else recognize this car? I feel like a saw it for sale online sometime over the past 4-5 years.
There was one on PCA classifieds that had this exterior color, but with not-so-desirable interior color. Kind of a mint green color. Problem was everything inside was painted the same. No contrast at all. It really clashed with the exterior color.
No the one Im referencing was Zanzibar and Cinnamon. Its such a rare combo that its gotta be the same car. It might have been for sale back in 2015 when I purchased mine. Dunno.
Awesome color combo, and it looks like it's in great shape. Unfortunately, you'll never get what it's "worth". The other "negative factors" you have going against you are the lack of any options (it seems from the sticker) and the fact that it's got the little single row IMS bearing(the worst of the offenders). For anyone seriously considering this car, they're going to want a $4k consideration to replace the bearing... My rec would be to keep it, or resign yourself to taking a beating on price. I'm thinking $20k tops...
Not enough options? You mean like those Cup Cars ? Not every one looking for the luxury Porsche
when I bough the car I looked for a no option car.
the RMS, IMS all new with DOF
It's a great looking low mile car. Post it on the PCA classifieds and see if anyone bites. Mid to high 20's seems like a fair starting point for negotiations.
