Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have used Lemfoerder parts (lower control arms, endlinks, etc.) on the M3 and I don't have anything negative to say about them either.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I haven't driven the 996 in a few months, its just been sitting in the garage. I figured Id address a few things it needs before driving it again. I need strut tops (shock mounts) and wheel bearings. Any recommendations on brands I should buy? 2001 C2, street driven

POST 2Original post

I used Lemfoerder upper front strut mounts and an *** front wheel bearing. No complaints after 10k miles or so.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I was wondering if the lemfoerder was any good

POST 4Original post

I have used Lemfoerder parts (lower control arms, endlinks, etc.) on the M3 and I don't have anything negative to say about them either. I would buy their parts again without hesitation.
