Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have a left muffler going bad- now it just coded P0301 - misfire cyl 1 and P1115- O2sensor bank 1 before cat - - question is replace muffler and 2 items listed - best place to purchase coils? And O2 sensors - thx

POST 2Original post

Check with Jason at warehouse33. Best price for the coils. Maybe O2 sensors too. Bosch from amazon for reference price.

POST 4Original post

What year is your 996? The P1115 may need some troubleshooting as it could be the sensor or wiring issue. Do you have Durametric or a scanner that can read O2 sensor voltage in real-time?

the baffles are rattling on the left bank - I am sure it has some thing to do with the O2 - Fractured found me a set of mufflers on Craig's list - I wanted to fister ize them - still a lot of summer left so I think I will install the left bank and drive until winter / then foster ize mufflers Sent from my iPad using Rennlist

POST 8Original post

1999 C4 uses DME 7.2 so the P1115 is complaining about the heater of the bank 1 precat sensor. This sensor seems to be correct for your car https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-13564-O.../dp/B000BZG6WA To troubleshoot, you can check the following: - Key in last position before crank. Remove the sensor connector (airbox area) and check pin 1 (black wire) has +12v - Check resistance of SENSOR SIDE pin 1 and pin 2, should be about 2.6 Ohm - Check resistance of SENSOR SIDE between pin 1 and ground, should be infinite. Repeat the same for pin 2, again SENSOR SIDE To check O2 sensor voltage, go to the Durametric DME tab under actual values and check the "O2 sensor voltage" box (there are 4 for the 4 sensors). Start the engine and run it until the SAI pump has stopped then you should see the precat sensor voltage should swing between 0.3 to 0.7v every second.
