Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2004 c2 My frount trunk won't open with the key fob or rocker switch I checked every fuse and couldn't find any blown ones . At first when I pushed the key fob it sounded like it tried to open but then on further tries now it makes no noise . Any suggestions ?

POST 2Original post

Try wedging your fingers under the corners by the head lights and see if you can loft the hood. It could be that it unlatched but it didn't pop up. That happens to ours some times. Otherwise you'll need to dig out the manual release cable and try that. It will be on the right side. You should find it tucked up in the front bumper though some people have to pull the side marker and fish it out that way and a recent poster had to take the wheel liner down and remove the headlight from the backside. It's probably that your latch needs cleaning or replacement. Is it cold in your area? It could be that the grease is just solidified.

POST 3Original post

Also check fuses B10 and E6 and ask someone to push down on the hood right on top of the latch when you hit the switch/key fob to open the frunk.
