Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Very nice! That's what you love to see. Have you dropped your oil pan to check for plastic bits and make sure no larger pieces are in the oil pickup screen? It's a good idea at some point but make sure your have some loctite 5900 liquid gasket on hand.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If one has a lift, one must use that lift at every possible opportunity. Especially if one has a wife who somehow approved the expenditure. :-)

A real man simply lifts up the rearend with one hand, and undo the drain plug with the other hand. I hold a jug of 0w40 on one hand, and press the up button on the lift with the other hand.
