Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey All, Finally getting ready to install my M030 and was checking springs for the compensator disks. I know there are different disks for springs with either a green or a white stripe... but looking at my car I have a RED stripe on top. Which compensator goes with a red paint stripe? Thanks, Tom

POST 2Original post

I have the same problem My car is very high, after installing the M030 RoW sport suspension I think my compensating disc are incorrect There are two types: 3 mm and 6,5 mm front. 0,5 mm and 4,0 mm rear front springs: white bar in the top coil = 3 mm rear: white bar in the top coil = 0,5 mm But the problem is that my coloured bar is orange (front springs) and blue (rear springs) Anybody knows? How to know which compnsating disc goes with my springs?

POST 4Original post

Thanks demosan I knew this fantastic article The problem was that 996 Mk2 have different part number than Mk1 and when I ordered the M030 RoW sport suspension Kit, the springs had different coloured bar in the top coil. The early kits had them in white
