Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

42 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I think I have sent like 4 emails now about the hardware that was missing with my sideskirts and still not a freaking word back on the subject, what a JOKE!

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey My friend wants to buy gt3 sideskirts and I wonder where to purchase them? //Noby

POST 2Original post

DPS Motorsports - they'll even paint them for you if you like. http://www.dps-motorsports.com/after...x?prodLine=454

POST 4Original post

You're welcome. I bought mine from there and they're good guys... not the fastest in the world, but they do a good job and try to fix things when they screw up.

POST 5Original post

Anyone know if the Aerokit II will fit on a 99 996 C2. Suncoast has them for $693 vs. $749 for the Aerokit I.

POST 6Original post

Quotes source post: 4928959

yes they will fit, newport996 has the mk2 sides on his 99

POST 7Original post

Lee do you have a MK II front bumper? If not, is it really worth saving $56 to get a mis-matched look on your 996?

POST 8Original post

Agree with Tim on the matching between the bumper and side skirts to keep the overall look of the car balanced.

POST 9Original post

Quotes source post: 4926178

Call Rob Joy at GT Motorsport. His products are the highest qulity, best fit. Tell him I referred you [phone removed]. http://www.gtmotorsport.net/ - Jordan

Quotes source post: 4929810

Tim, no I dont have the MK II front bumper cover. I like it better than the MK I but I didnt think it would fit a 99 996. On Suncoast Porsches website the description states the Aerokit II bumper cover is for 996 from 08/01 to 2004. I would consider buying both if it would. Thanks for pointing out the mismatch.

I bought side skirts from this company like 2-3 weeks ago and the stuff still has not arrived within the USA, slower company Ive never dealth with

POST 12Original post

They're not fast. It took 8 weeks for mine to arrive and I'm in the US. It will take even longer to get them to Sweden.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Why the hell did you recomend them!!! Geeeee... its not to Sweden, its within USA they are suppose to be delivered.

POST 14Original post

I have Mk1 sides for sale, brand new in box, primed and ready for delivery if anyone needs them.

POST 15Original post

Hi, does someone know if in DPS it's orginal Porsche part or copy?

POST 16Original post

Quotes source post: 5022929

Their web site states that the side skirts are OEM Porsche. www.dps-motorsports.com

POST 17Original post

Quotes source post: 5021772

I recommended them because the parts are the cheapest that you will find, they are OEM, and they did everything that they were supposed to do. Give me a good reason why I should NOT recommend them. Remember that the 8 weeks for me included painting. Other than the delivery time they were excellent. They had some hiccups with regard to hardwre not being delivered, but they fixed everything in a timely manner. I cannot complain about the product they they delivered to me. Sure you can get the parts elsewhere faster, but you will pay more to get them. Personally I don't mind waiting for the lower cost... the car wasn't going anywhere and it really didn't make a difference to me as the install was a winter project done while the car was off the road. Really, does a few weeks of waiting really matter in the scheme things if you get a high quality product delivered for thousands less than other sources? Think about it.

POST 18Original post

Quotes source post: 5022473

And to adverstise them on Rennlist you will need to pay $17 for membership. Non-members are not allowed to post anything for sale.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is the reasons. 1. Freaking long deliverytime. 2. They lied to my friend about shipping date, they told him 7th January that the stuff were shipped. But after few days he emailed for trackingnr without an answer. First yesturday 24th January we called and first then they told us that its gonna be shipped today 25th and gave us a trackingnr.

POST 20Original post

Quotes source post: 5025371

Hmm. Okay, yes. Of course I have the ability to predict that they're going to mess up on future orders when they handled mine fine. Yes, that's totally rational. As i said, if you're in a hurry, feel free to buy from other places and pay more. I do not regard my experience with them as negative.

POST 21Original post

Quotes source post: 5024695

I had already paid the membership fee well over a year ago but never had the 'user' status changed. It wasnt a big deal to me has it was only $17.95. But to passify everyone, I paid it again and it should be taken care of and people can come down off of their

POST 24Original post

Ok cool, As I heard, very long delivery to US so I imagine for France, I will sold the car before receive it ! lol

POST 25 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

One more negative thing about DPS, payed for faster shipping 3 days, took over 1 week to arrive within USA. Anyways I have a question, when you order sideskirts from DPS, shouldnt hardware be included?

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 5049263

It was in my case, but I saw a post recently that said that someone was charged separately.

I was wondering about this only last week. I figured that no news meant that Dayton had taken care of you... that's annoying. I'm sorry to hear that you're having so much trouble. Have you contacted Dayton again to ask what's going on?
